Build a Names & Faces directory using our company template in a few minutes by following the steps below.
Step 1: Create your directory
Create your directory by giving it a name (you can change this later) and entering your email address on desktop here. Once done you'll land in your directory admin interface, called Adminland.
Step 2: Download the Names & Faces mobile app
While you can always view your directory on desktop as you work by clicking View Directory in your Names & Faces menu, we recommend tracking updates live on your mobile phone in the Names & Faces app.
To do so, download our iOS or Android app and sign in in with your email address.
Step 3: Add your data to the template
When viewing your Names & Faces Adminland home page on your desktop, select Data. In the grid, the columns are the fields that will display on your people's profiles, while the rows are a person's data. To help you get started, we've included created a template of the most common fields for a company directory.
Enter the details of the people you'd like featured in your directory, or copy and paste your data from an existing spreadsheet.
Update your directory by editing the data here or by selecting Edit Profile (available to admins and the user associated to the profile in question) when viewing a profile.

Add columns by clicking +.
Remove or rename them using the column ⚙ menu.
Change a column's field type to allow for additional features.
Step 4: Upload your photos
From Adminland select Photos and Upload Photos to select the image files from your desktop.
Use the Match button on a photo to match them to people in your directory. Match in bulk by naming your photos by email address and selecting Match all photos, and selecting Email Address.

You can also take or select photos in the mobile app by selecting Edit Profile when viewing a profile.
Step 5: Invite your users
In Adminland select Users to manage who has access to your directory. Users can be created automatically from your data or individually by selecting Add guest and entering an email address.
