Adding photos

Adding photos to profiles will bring your directory to life and allow users to easily identify your people. Photos can be added to your directory in three ways:

User or admin uploads via Edit profile

Take or select photos in the mobile app by selecting Edit Profile when viewing a profile.

Admin uploads via Adminland

From Adminland select Photos and Upload Photos to select the image files from your desktop.

Use the Match button on a photo to match them to people in your directory. Match in bulk by naming your photos by email address and selecting Match all photos, and selecting Email Address.

Photo collection email to your users

Names & Faces can help you collect photos directly from your users, which will be automatically matched to their profile.

From Adminland select Photos and Collect Photos. Select all or sort by Missing Photos or choose individuals to send a generic email with a tokenised link. Sit back and watch your directory populate itself!

Approval Settings

Approval setting allow admins to review photos before they're displayed in your directory.

T switch on, go to Adminland, and click on your directory's name in the box in the bottom left of your screen. In the menu, select Approval Settings and switch on the toggle to Require photo changes to be approved by admin.

When enabled, admins will need to go to Adminland > Photos and select Approve on all user submitted photos before they will be displayed in the directory.

Editing photos

We'll do our best to crop your photos around the detected face, but these results can be inconsistent.

To recrop your images, go to Adminland > Photos and select the checkbox of the photos you'd like to edit and select Crop & Rotate. Use the cropping tool to recrop the square profile image (used on a person's profile) and the rectangle thumbnail (used when browsing the directory).
